Premier League goals galore

Harry Kane’s brace was not enough to earn Tottenham victory as they drew 2-2 against Newcastle United.

Joelinton opened the scoring for Newcastle, before quick goals from Kane put Tottenham ahead. A late equalizer from Joe Willock, however, earned a vital point in Newcastle’s fight for Premier League survival.

Elsewhere, Southampton recovered from 2-0 down to beat Burnley 3-2 while Aston Villa, without captain Jack Grealish, beat Fulham 3-1.

Valencia vs Cadiz stopped after the confrontation between Diakhaby and Cala

Valencia’s game against Cádiz was stopped after a confrontation between Mouctar Diakhaby and Juan Cala.

Following the incident, Diakhaby and Valencia players left the pitch in the 31st minute of Sunday’s La Liga game.

The match restarted later but Diakhaby was substituted and did not continue.

Rudiger sacked early from training due to Kepa collapsing after West Brom loss

Antonio Rudiger was kicked out of training five minutes ahead of schedule by Thomas Tuchel on Sunday after a fight with Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The incident happened less than 24 hours after Chelsea suffered a shock 5-2 loss to relegation-threatened West Bromwich Albion. The loss ended Tuchel’s 14-game unbeaten streak.

The incident followed Tuchel’s call for ‘calm’ after the defeat.

Injury problems at Arsenal and Manchester United

David Luiz has had surgery on his right knee but Arsenal hope he will only be out for a few weeks.

Luiz missed Arsenal’s 3-0 loss to Liverpool on Saturday night, with Mikel Arteta explaining he suffered a knee injury after the match.

Elsewhere, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted striker Anthony Martial could miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

The FA plans to have 21,000 fans to watch the FA Cup final

The FA expects 21,000 fans to attend the FA Cup final next month as part of the government’s pilot events for returning supporters.

Fans will first attend the FA Cup semi-final between Leicester and Southampton on April 18, with 4,000 allowed, before the Carabao Cup final on April 25 draws 8,000 fans.

Jadon Sancho will likely miss Manchester City’s game on Tuesday

Jadon Sancho will likely miss Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League game against Manchester City on Tuesday.

The Borussia Dortmund forward, who spent two years at City’s academy, has been sidelined through injury since early March.
