The Knight Hawks indoor football team will charge for parking for games at Dollar Loan Center Arena in Henderson

Open your wallets if you want to park at the Dollar Loan Center arena in Henderson for Vegas Knight Hawks games.

The team, owned by Golden Knights majority owner Bill Foley, said Thursday that beginning with the Knight Hawks vs. Tucson Sugar Skulls game on Sunday, March 27, the team will begin charging for arena parking at 6,000 spaces off Green Valley Parkway near the district.

In a press release, the Knight Hawks said prepaid parking would cost $10 and parking at games would be $12, plus service fees.

Remember that the Dollar Loan Center arena is a cashless facility. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and more.

Below are the instructions for each bundle:

  • BLACK PACK/RAV4: Fans can access this land by traveling east on Paseo Verde or south on Green Valley Parkway at Silver Knights Way.
  • SILVER/CAMRY BUNDLE: This lot can be accessed by traveling south on Green Valley Parkway to Silver Knights Way.
  • RED TERRAIN/TUNDRA: This lot is accessible by traveling east from Paseo Verde Parkway.
  • GOLD LOT/HIGHLANDER: You can access this lot by traveling south on Green Valley Parkway to Silver Knights Way.

The backlash, as you’d expect, unfolded on Twitter after posted the new parking fees.

The City of Henderson contributed $42 million in state dollars to help Foley build the $84 million arena, which will also host Henderson Silver Knights games.
