Steelers-Vikings DFS lineups: Fantasy Football Today analysts share captains’ picks and daily lineups for TNF

Every NFL week begins with a Thursday night soccer game for most of the rest of the 2021 season, and these are our favorite lists for playing Daily Fantasy Football. The TNF Showdown Slate lets you choose from a smaller crop of players, and if your choice of cheap sleeper succeeds, you can win big in your tournaments or easily win your DFS head-to-head clashes.

Each week, I will receive Thursday night’s DFS picks from our experts and we’ll feature them below. But first, let’s preview the match and what we can expect.

The Minnesota Vikings host the Pittsburgh Steelers in a game that has paramount playoff implications for both teams in their quest to clinch a Wildcard spot in their respective conferences. While this game has a low projected points total of 44 it will be an interesting DFS roster nonetheless, with Dalvin Cook surprisingly set to play despite a shoulder injury two weeks ago that looked like a potential end to the season at the era. Cook’s return should reinforce an attack that will be without several starters, including Adam Thielen and Christian Darrisaw. This means that KJ Osborn will likely be a popular Daily Fantasy piece due to its price tag and its intended role with Thielen.

On the flip side, maybe the Steelers finally found something on offense in Week 13 by allowing Ben Roethlisberger to call more of his own shots in a fast-paced, very pass-rich play script that led to the comeback against the Ravens. Of course we’ve seen this game play out before and in the past this has led the Steelers to resort to talk like we have to go back to establishing a running game, take more shots under center and even write Najee Harris. If they stick to the plan, that’s not great news for Harris, but makes Diontae Johnson one of the top 10 WR games this week.

Without further ado, here’s a look at which ones our experts are picking on this DFS Thursday Night Football slate:
