The revealing book business is booming, and Robert Griffin III is jumping into the ring with his book due out in August 2022, titled Survive Washington. Griffin is set to unveil his memories of all the filth that went on behind the scenes during his time in the nation’s capital as a quarterback for the Washington football team.

So here we are again. Another book describing all the dysfunctions that occur around an entity in the hope of exposing the “truth”. Hopefully Griffin brings some devastating information that is not already public about the Washington football team scandals. Maybe he was able to access the rest of those 650,000 emails that the NFL doesn’t want released from the WFT investigation. Realize this, and now we have ALL.

In his Twitter post, Griffin explains how he will uncover the truth about the culture of sexual harassment within the organization and “the power struggle between one of the most powerful coaches in all sports” and the owner of WFT Daniel Snyder. Now I think it’s clear that the coach in question here with all that power is Mike Shanahan. You know the two-time Super Bowl winner the head coach who I never wanted to write Griffin in the first place.

This book will be from Griffin’s point of view in his words. It will be quite interesting to know if Griffin’s memoir is any real “eye-catcher” and that is exactly what he does, including talking to and admit one’s own faults in the way his The Washington experiment unfolded during his three years with the organization. And to clear up any confusion on particular aspects of the book, RG3’s wife, Grete, took to Twitter to clarify.

One has to wonder if RG3 will actually expose his former boss and friend Snyder. Most people will wait and see how much Griffin specifically delves into Snyder. We already know that Snyder was directly involved in the toxic behavior that permeated his franchise for a long time. As the owner of the team, the fact that all of this outrageous behavior is happening under your watch makes you feel guilty whether you are directly involved or not.

Only time will tell if Griffin is willing to be completely outspoken about his time in Washington. I’m sure the ad worries some people about what Robert will say in the book. We’ll soon know if the book reveals what hasn’t already been reported, or if it’s a rehash of what the public already knows.
