Mutant Football League 2 announced with more mutants, modes and field damage

Mutant Football League, not to be confused with Mutant League Football, is getting a sequel.

IGN can exclusively reveal that Digital Dreams is currently working on a follow-up to its 2017 reimagining of EA’s 1993 football cult classic. Mutant Football League 2 will feature more mutants, more game modes, improved visuals and online play, custom teams, an improved Dynasty Supreme franchise mode, and new gameplay changes such as weather changes during games and the addition of an eighth player on the pitch.

Digital Dreams creates Mutant Football League 2 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and PC. Additionally, the Digital Dreams development team is largely based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Due to the ongoing invasion of Russia, Digital Dreams is unable to determine when Mutant Football League 2 will be released.

Digital Dreams joins a number of other gaming companies in the industry to raise funds to help Ukrainian citizens in sale Mutant Football League t-shirts, with all proceeds going to World Central Kitchen. IGN has put together a number of other ways to help out here.
