Indian women’s football team to train in Goa from March 28

India’s women’s football team is due to meet for a seven-day training camp in Goa from March 28 to April 3, following a two-month break following their AFC Women’s Asian Cup exit.

The camp will begin when head coach Thomas Dennerby takes charge of the team, having completed his commitments with the Indian U-18 team in the SAFF Women’s U-18 Championship, alongside Astam Oraon, Martina Thokchom and Apurna Narzary.

“It was good for everyone, the players and the coaches to have a short break before returning to camp once again. I think everyone will be refreshed and ready to take on the new challenges that await us all,” Dennerby said in a statement released by AIFF.

“Of course we will give our best and prepare again. We have a very good team, and we already know that. Now it’s about moving forward. »
