Arsenal have completed the signing of Ukraine international Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City.
The 25-year-old is moving to the north London side in a £32m deal after putting pen to paper on a four-year deal.
Signed from FC Ufa in 2016, Zinchenko spent the 2016-17 campaign in the Eredivisie with PSV Eindhoven before returning to the Etihad Stadium to earn a place in the first team.
He made 128 appearances in all competitions for the Cityzens, winning every trophy available in English football, including four Premier League titles and four FA Cup titles.
Speaking on City’s official website, the Ukraine international thanked staff, team-mates and fans for their memorable and trophy-laden six-year spell together.
“Signing for Manchester City was life changing and I will always be grateful for the opportunity they gave me,” Zinchenko said.
“I loved being part of this team. Playing alongside world-class players and working with Pep Guardiola has been an absolute privilege, and I have to say the same to play in front of the fans, who have always made me feel feel at home here.
“I thank them all for the support they have given me and I wish the club the best for the future.”
Zinchenko marks the Gunners’ fifth foray into the Premier League summer transfer market, following the arrival of Matt Turner, Marquinhos, Fabio Vieira and former Man City team-mate Gabriel Jesus.
Arsenal get a proven and established Premier League player in Zinchenko who also brings plenty of international experience as he has 52 caps for Ukraine.
He played a pivotal role in Ukraine’s sensational World Cup qualifying campaign in June before suffering a 1-0 loss to Wales in the play-offs.

“Alex is a great quality player who will give us options and versatility. It’s not just about the positions he can play but also the versatility he will give us in attack and defense.
Zinchenko made 15 Premier League appearances last season, providing four assists to help City win an impressive fourth title in five years.
