Terrell Owens is trying to help build something.
And he’s now urging former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick to join him.
“I feel like he could come in and really use it to really hone his skills,” Owens said. TMZ Sports. “Especially because there are questions about the fact that he hasn’t played for so long.”
What is that”?
Owens, 48, is a Hall of Fame wide receiver and former Dallas Cowboys star who is joining the fan-controlled football league and is expected to team up with quarterback Manziel as a member of the Zappers. according to ESPN.
Johnny Manziel, the former Texas A&M superstar and Heisman Trophy winner, does this for fun because he knows “it’s over.” So he’s in it. TO is in it, with a different purpose.
Terrell Owens – as he so often does – has other ideas. He talks about the return of the NFL.
“If Tom Brady can do it, if they can marvel at (him)…I’m no different than Tom,” Owens said of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, who turns 45 in August. .
“I can’t wait to pitch with Johnny or whoever the quarterback is,” Owens said. “If it’s Johnny Football – it doesn’t matter if it’s Pee-wee Herman – as long as they get the ball where it needs to be…I’m going to do my best to make something happen with it.”
Owens last appeared in an NFL game in 2010, in part because of the controversy that followed during his career.

He admits he might not be quite the same guy who won six Pro Bowl berths in 15 NFL seasons with absolute receiving yards (15,934), touchdowns (153) and receptions (1,078).
Said TO: “Of course, everyone’s skills can decline at some point, but I think there are some people who kind of defy those odds, and I think I’m one of those people. .”
Owens’ real goal here is to help the league of fan-controlled football grow.
“If (an NFL opportunity) arises or arises because I’m playing fan-controlled football league because they see me taking hits… then so be it,” he said of the 7v7 league, which starts playing in mid-April. “But that’s not what I’m actively looking for. It’s a fan-controlled football league partnership. It’s to help grow what they’re trying to do.”
TO can do it. Manzel too. Kaepernick? If “growing up” starts with attention, yes, Owens’ New League just did.
