College Football Today – Week 4 Updates, Highlights, Greatest Moments & More

We are already four full weeks into the season. Seriously, where is the time?

So far this Saturday, No. 12 Notre Dame has already taken care of business against No. 18 Wisconsin with a 41-13 victory at Soldier Field in Chicago. The only other game between ranked opponents is No. 7 Texas A&M-No. 16 Arkansas, and they compete at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. But we’re watching everything else and there’s no shortage of highlights and drama.

Check out all the results, reactions and celebrations from across the country.
Arkansas started 3-0, thrashing Texas and reaching their best ranking in five years. The ceiling seems awfully high for Sam Pittman’s Razorbacks, but life in the SEC West means the floor is always low, too. The reward for their newfound prowess: four straight games against teams ranked 18th or better in SP+ (and 23rd or better in the AP poll). Per SP+, their predicted full-season schedule strength ranks #1 in FBS.

The Hogs are projected underdogs for six of their next eight games, and if they want to make anything out of their season beyond a “very encouraging 7-5”, this game is almost a must win. And their defense will give them a chance.Learn more about Bill Connelly’s Week 4 preview (ESPN+).

Key of the day

Everything works, right?

It’s time to celebrate

SMU tried to celebrate. The Mustangs really did it. However, TCU didn’t have it when they tried to plant their flag on the field.

Boston College fans were pretty excited about the win over Missouri.

It was the interception that sealed the victory for the Eagles.

Even the Tigers social team had fun celebrating the win.

Of course, Notre Dame was to savor its victory over Wisconsin with this legend.

The City of Fresno declared this week “Fresno State Football Week and Quarterback Jake Haener.” There should be more of that around college football when a team heavily upsets someone like Fresno State did at UCLA last weekend.

For more on Haener’s unpredictable rise, look at this.

It’s a look

Talk about making an entrance.

Lane Kiffin has some shiny new plates. Please never change.

Introducing Jaxson Skywalker. Yeah, obviously Jaxson Dart was inspired by Star Wars in case you were wondering what was wrong with his black eye. Dart, however, is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery to repair a meniscus injury.

Stephen A. Smith is a man of his word. He lost a bet to Tim Tebow – he said Florida would lose by more than three touchdowns to Alabama last weekend, and he had to pay.

And it’s safe to say the Gators loved that look on him.

There are plenty of movie encores this week, and Oregon is trending with its Dark Knight threads.

Michigan State is playing Nebraska, and the Spartans definitely had fun with this reveal in a cornfield.

And Memphis definitely brings the heat with their uniform combo.

Stage in the stands

A full Soldier Field for Wisconsin-Notre Dame is a pretty sight.

Game day antics

Kevin Kelly doesn’t believe in punting and, yes, you read those words correctly. It’s an unorthodox way to play, but fascinating nonetheless. Learn more about the Presbyterian Head Coach here.

And Lee Corso’s pick is…

NIL offer of the week

Cade York is now “queso rich”, and it gives us all the “wasted chocolate” feelings.

More to see

UConn felt really good today as they lead Wyoming and pulled out a ride.

Chris Tyree picked up all the way back for the score.

Slipped right next to it.

Georgia kicks Vanderbilt out of the building.

But hey, at least the fans are still having fun with it.

For more on the UGA shutout, look at this.

Jordan Addison is here to take names and take pegs.

It is certainly a bad idea to give a place to Bijan Robinson.

We’ve been seeing a lot of pretty amazing takes lately, and this definitely falls into that category.

The accuracy here is unlike anything else.
