There is a recipe for beating each team. Granted, for some it is essentially “Butter the bread, put it in a pan, put cheese on each slice”, and for others it is the more complicated dessert in “Mary Berry’s Baking Bible”. But a recipe still exists.
We explored the recipe for Beating Georgia a few weeks ago, and since Ohio State’s dominance over Michigan state last week made the Buckeyes inevitable – and since the last OSU-Michigan games left us the same feeling – it’s time to do it. the same goes for the Buckeyes.
Ohio State is clearly back in shape. Head coach Ryan Day reshuffled defensive call responsibilities after a Week 2 loss to Oregon, and the Buckeyes have allowed just 15.4 points per game in their last eight games. Meanwhile, their attack was easily the best in FBS. When the receiving trio of Garrett Wilson, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Chris Olave are made up, you end up with choices like “I don’t know, maybe try to force them to throw the ball?” Then you remember that TreVeyon Henderson and Miyan Williams averaged 7.4 yards per carry.Read more on Bill Connelly’s Week 13 preview (ESPN +).

Storms on the ground are all the rage this year. But Friday night brought something that we’re not sure we’ve seen before. Rushing to the fieldlike the road team. That’s what Washington State did after beating rival Washington 40-13 in the Apple Cup. Hope the Huskies don’t get fined for this one.
Ohio State always goes the extra Xile whenever it faces Xichigan.
And yes, the Buckeyes are sure they are having fun.
