Chelsea must buy three PSG players on the transfer list

Chelsea could be looking to sign new talent from Paris Saint-Germain who have placed 11 of their players on display.

The Parisians are looking to offload high-income and underachieving players this summer at the Parc des Princes.

According to a report from The ParisianAbdou Diallo, Thilo Kehrer, Layvin Kurzawa, Leandro Paredes, Danilo Pereira, Idrissa Gueye, Ander Herrera, Georginio Wijnaldum, Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe, Julian Draxler and Mauro Icardi are the names of the players who have been put on the transfer list.

Chelsea have already brought in Kalidou Koulibaly and Raheem Sterling but there are several areas where they need improvement this summer.

1-Abdou Diallo

Chelsea are desperate for defensive reinforcements with Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger both leaving the London club earlier this summer. Cesar Azpilicueta has also been linked with a move to Barcelona who wish to sign it.

The Blues have recently failed in their efforts to agree a deal with Jules Kounde opting to join the Catalans instead. PSG’s Abdou Diallo could be an attractive option for Thomas Tuchel.

The 26-year-old has been on the French team’s books since 2019 and has made 75 first-team appearances in all competitions so far.

He has all the qualities to succeed in the Premier League. The Senegal international averaged 2.1 tackles, 1.1 steals and 1.1 clearances per game in Ligue 1 last season (according to WhoScored).

2- Thilo Kehrer

Chelsea have been linked with several defenders since losing Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger, including Kounde, Nathan Ake, Presnel Kimpembe and Kalidou Koulibaly. However, they only managed to sign Koulibalyleaving them out of defensive options.

The Blues could target Thilo Kehrer who could possibly join them with a lower transfer fee since PSG are keen on selling him.

The 25-year-old mainly plays as a centre-back but he can also be deployed as a right-back. He’s been on the Ligue 1 books since 2018 and has made over 120 appearances in all competitions so far at the Parc des Princes.

3- Layvin Kurzawa

Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso. If the 31-year-old seals his return to Spain, the Blues could turn to Layvin Kurzawa as Ben Chilwell’s replacement.

Kurzawa has spent most of his career with Monaco and PSG and has over 180 Ligue 1 games to his name. He also played 29 Champions League matches.

However, the left-back has been going through a tough time in recent years as he was completely frozen out at his club.
